This flintlock pan primer is operated by a simple downward push into the pan, which will dispense approximately 3 grains of 4Fg priming powder in the pan. Made of brass with a stainless steel spring. A lanyard hole is provided in a nicely turned base. The priming mechanism is in a knurled, threaded housing that is removable for easy filling. The primer holds approximately 80 grains of powder.
